Light in the darkness

It's a grey, rainy, clammy Monday. The kind where you start contemplating the possibility that Spring is an awful practical joke being played on you by the universe ... Days like this can make you gloomy - slow you down, sap your drive. That's OK - if that happens, get a cup of tea, a nice book, your comfy slippers and settle down. This, too, shall pass. But if you have to work or charge ahead, then there are mind games you can play ... thinking of that dream vacation to Aruba, Tahiti, Hawaii, for example :) If that doesn't work, look at it this way ... you can't go play a round of golf, taking a walk or going for a run is out of the question, can't go to the garden center to look at the plants, can't work in the yard - you may as well get something practical done, inside, where it's warm and dry. Plan some play time for better weather. I read a little motivational blurb on swallowing frogs, somewhere ... basically, if you swallow a frog first thing every morning, then you know that there's nothing worse than that you'll need to face. So, go on - Start chewing!
